Derived name from the five hills enclosing it, Panchgani is a hill station near Mahabaleshwar which is famous its various sunset/sunrise points and scenic valley views. Located at an altitude of 1, 334 mts, Panchgani is a place, encircled with five hilly mountains of Sahyadri range. The coastal plain creates amazing spot to drink the elixir of the nature. During British era, this place used to be a summer resort. Being pretty much similar, Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar are called twin cities.

Spread over a vast area of 100 acres, Table Land is a plain land embellished with green carpet of grass. Early winters is the best time to visit there as one can enjoy the soft green grasses of monsoon and the land also does not remain slippery.Apart from that, there are lots of enjoyment to have fun like horse riding, merry go rounds, mini trains etc.
On the way to Mahabaleshwar lies a huge rock overlooking the Krishna valley,that point is called Kate’s point. Around 15 km outside from Panchgani, this point provides the picturesque view of the valley as well as the waters of Dhom Dam and Balakwadi.
